Core support services

We understand that life’s circumstances can make it difficult to stay connected with friends, family, and community, however feeling isolated can negatively impact your health and wellbeing. Our Core support services focus on helping individuals with the essential activities of daily living as well as maintaining a sense of pride, dignity, and connection to loved ones and community.

These services can include:

Personal care

Assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.

Daily living

Support with tasks such as meal preparation, household chores, and medication management.

Community access

Helping individuals engage in their local communities, including social outings, shopping, and appointments.

Day programs

Our range of day programs include community excursions, civic activities, and centre based activities. These can include arts and crafts, swimming, personal care, and cooking. We also organise allied health specialist appointments at the centre, including behavioural specialists and speech therapists.

NDIS Transport

Ensuring safe, reliable transport to and from important appointments or activities.

Capacity Building Services

We approach our support work with the belief that every single person, regardless of their level of ability or disability, has the potential to learn and achieve goals. Our Capacity building services are designed to empower our clients to lead more independent lives, whatever that looks like for them.

Life Skills Development

Helping clients gain essential skills such as cooking, budgeting, communication, navigating public transport, and promoting participation in household and community activities.

NDIS Support Coordination

Working with individuals to coordinate their NDIS plans and ensure they receive the right support.

Independent Living Skills

Focusing on activities that promote independence, such as using public transport, managing personal finances, and preparing for employment.

Accommodation Support Services

Our Accommodation support services provide comfortable arrangements designed to promote independence and safety for every individual. Short term and respite accommodation services are provided in our well-equipped and secure Punchbowl centre.

These services can include:

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Helping individuals live as independently as possible in their own homes, with support for tasks such as personal care and household management.

Short-Term Accommodation (STA)

Offering temporary accommodation and care for individuals who need respite or transitional support, giving families a break when they need it most.

Respite Care

Providing short-term relief for primary caregivers, ensuring their loved ones receive the highest quality care in a safe, supportive environment.

Support Centre

Our Punchbowl-based support centre is safe, comfortable, and well-equipped for the range of support services and activities we host there.

These services can include:

Social Events and Activities

Arts and crafts, birthday parties, cooking lessons, and more. Our versatile space hosts a range of events and activities designed to promote positive social experiences and a sense of connection to the community.

Allied Health Professional Appointments

We arrange for teams of health professionals, including speech therapists and behavioural specialists, to visit the centre so our clients can receive treatments in a safe and familiar environment.

Short-Term Respite Care

Our centre is set up to provide temporary, short-term accommodation for our clients. Primary caregivers can rest easy knowing their loved ones are being cared for in a safe and supportive environment.

Personal Care

We provide a range of personal care and hygiene services at our centre, in a clean, respectful, and private space.

When it comes to disability support, you need to make sure you find the right match. You’re welcome to come and visit our centre, and we’ll come and visit your home too.

Step 4 - Plan

Once we’ve gotten to know you properly, we’ll put together your personalised support plan.

Step 5 - Begin

We’ll match you with one of our highly trained support workers and get started!
